This is a university‑level scholarship specifically to support international degree students (Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctoral):

Coverage (tuition fee waivers):

• Elite: 100% tuition fee waiver

• First: 50% tuition waiver

• Second: 30% tuition waiver

• Third: 20% tuition waiver
  These apply across undergraduate (4–5 years), master’s (2–3 years), and doctoral programs (4 years).

Eligibility:

• Non‑Chinese citizens

• Good health

• Abide by PRC laws and university rules

• Limited to one scholarship (cannot receive multiple simultaneously)

2. Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC)

This is a fully funded scholarship from the Chinese Government available to international students at HIT:

Benefits include:

• Full tuition waiver

• Free accommodation or onsite dorm

• Medical insurance (typically ~¥800/year)

• Monthly stipend: ~¥3,000 for Master’s / ~¥3,500 for PhD

Details:

• Duration corresponds to your program (2–3 years for Master’s; 4 years for PhD)

• Requires application through the China Scholarship Council (CSC) portal and often via Chinese embassy/consulate in your home country
